Abitur Math + TestDaF Parallel Timeline (12 Months)
A 12-month parallel timeline for students preparing both Abitur math (LK) and TestDaF for German university admission.
Two exams, one goal
Abitur math and TestDaF are two separate inputs to the same university admission. If you don't plan in parallel, one slides into the other. Run a two-track plan.
Months 1-3: structure
Map the Abitur LK Pflichtteil/Wahlteil structure and the last 3 years of past exams. For TestDaF, internalise the model-test TDN band. Daily 60 min German reading + 60 min LK math fundamentals.
Months 4-9: depth
Daily 30 min Pflichtteil computation drills; weekly one Wahlteil. For TestDaF, two Lesen mocks + one Hören full-mock per week, with daily Schreiben/Sprechen scaffold drills.
Last 90 days: full mocks
Six full mocks for each exam. Abitur mock on Saturday, TestDaF mock on Sunday — month-end comparative analysis.
