TYT + AYT 90-Day Study Plan (2026 ÖSYM-Sourced)

A week-by-week 90-day plan for the Turkish university exam (YKS), with mock-test net targets and recovery windows.

Before the plan: snapshot your current state

Spend the first three days mapping the current state — net per section in your last three TYT mocks, AYT field-specific net target, and a target broken down by exam (e.g., 100 TYT + 220 AYT) instead of a vague total.

Days 1-30: topic completion + low-friction review

Four hours of active topic review + one hour of solving per day, with Pomodoro 50/10. Two TYT mocks and one AYT mock per week. Always run a 24-hour mock analysis — write the gaps back into your notes.

Days 31-60: speed and question-type reflexes

Track question count per hour. Target: TYT math 30 questions in a controlled 25-minute scan, AYT reading no more than 90 seconds per paragraph. Build personal flash cards: 'question type — typical trap — shortcut'.

Days 61-90: mock + recovery + sleep triangle

Three TYT mocks and two AYT mocks per week. Practice from 09:45 to 12:30 to align your circadian rhythm with exam time. Keep sleep above seven hours. No new topics in the last week — review past mistakes only. Day before the exam: light review, no full mock.

Common traps

1) Returning to topic basics after day 60 instead of focusing on solving. 2) Only practising strong subjects. 3) Believing 'zero to 500' anecdotes. Set your target relative to your starting point — a 20-30% net improvement in 90 days is realistic.
