Net (TR exam scoring)
In Turkish multiple-choice exams, 'net' is the correct count minus a quarter of the wrong count: net = correct − (wrong / 4). ÖSYM uses this formula across most exams.

Raw score (Ham Puan)
Raw score is computed by multiplying section nets by section weights and adding a base of 100. It is the intermediate value before the placement score (Yerleştirme Puanı).

Placement score (Yerleştirme Puanı)
Placement score combines the raw score with OBP/AOBP and (when applicable) the AYT/TYT mix. It is the value used to rank candidates during university/job placements.

OBP (High School Achievement Score)
OBP is the high school diploma grade multiplied by 5 used as part of YKS placement; AOBP is the weighted version based on exam score relative ranking.
